I feel grateful to have been selected through a rigorous application process to participate in Miami Hack Week. As a woman in technology, I was thrilled to be selected for two houses, the Real Social House and HQ, and spend an intense week building in Hacker Houses across the city with top talent from across the world.
Throughout the week, I had the opportunity to meet interesting people, share ideas and projects, and attend expert talks and investor sharing sessions. The networking events and parties were also great fun, making the experience even more enjoyable.
One of the things that impressed me the most was the diversity of topics covered in the hacker houses. From augmented reality and fintech to healthtech and artificial intelligence, there was something for everyone’s interests.
The event also stood out for its collaboration with major technology companies like Niantic and Blockchain.com, and the variety of exciting events it offered, such as a Barry’s Bootcamp session led by Keith Rabois of Founders Fund VC and the CEO of OpenStore, a founders and investors dinner with JP Morgan, and a large opening and closing party with a live DJ.
As a local resident of Miami, I am thrilled to be a part of such a strong and vibrant technology community here in my city. Participating in Miami Hack Week was an incredibly valuable experience.
